South Beach: The Novel – Book Signing

Author Brian Antoni will be at The Wolfsonian on Friday presenting his new book about life in South Beach during the 90’s.

Oh, you KNOW it’s gonna be good!

There will be a book signing with the requisite cocktail reception in The Dynamo Cafe. Cocktails courtesy of Rubi Rey Rum (Whaaat???? No Bacardi??? Oooh, careful B. Someone’s moving in on your territory!

Rootz Underground and Babylon Circus
Heineken TransAtlantic Festival presents Babylon Circus and Rootz Underground Sat, Apr 26 at the North Beach Bandshell.

Rootz Underground plays a unique fusion of reggae, trance, rock, Jazz and dub while Babylon Circus is a band from France known for there crazy, high-energy shows.

Miami Beach Polo World Cup

The Miami Beach Polo World Cup will be held on the sands of South Beach in front of The Setai between 20th and 22nd Streets on Fri, April 25 – Sun, Apr 27.

This has been a big hit the past three years and gets bigger and better each time.

This year will have 8 International Teams with players from Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, USA, Switzerland, Canada and Germany.

2 p.m. – 5 p.m. Team competitions
5 p.m.   Daily presentation ceremony 
12 a.m. Polo Players Night at Mynt Lounge open to public
