Miami Beach Polo World Cup

The Miami Beach Polo World Cup will be held on the sands of South Beach in front of The Setai between 20th and 22nd Streets on Fri, April 25 – Sun, Apr 27.

This has been a big hit the past three years and gets bigger and better each time.

This year will have 8 International Teams with players from Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, USA, Switzerland, Canada and Germany.

Schedule of activities:

Friday April 25th, 2008 
1:30 p.m. Horse parade on the beach
2 p.m. – 5 p.m. Team competitions
5 p.m.   Daily presentation ceremony 
12 a.m. Polo Players Night at Mynt Lounge open to public
 

Saturday April 26th, 2008
2 p.m. – 5 p.m.   Team competitions
5 p.m.       Daily presentation ceremony
8 p.m.- 11 p.m.    Drinks and hors d’oeuvres
8:30 p.m.   Miami Project Fashion Show
9:00 p.m.  Blues Brothers Concert
10:00 p.m Miami Project Private Setai Dine Around
 

Sunday April 27th, 2008
2 p.m.             5th & 6th Place Match
3 p.m.    Romero Britto Cup 3rd & 4th Place Match
4 p.m.  La Martina Cup Finals 1st & 2nd Place Match
5 p.m.   Closing Ceremony
6 p.m. Polo Goes Social (at Sagamore Pool “Water Polo”)
